Introduction to Arm Balances and Inversions Workshop

Fear is a thing of the past for those who participated in our workshop celebrating International Yoga Day. From Parivrtta Bakasana (side crow) to Sirsasana (headstand), our fellow yogis and yoginis were warmed up with a core based yoga session plus an upper body strengthening sequence allowing their body to adapt and adjust.

Here's a handy tip from Nick (Lead Fitness Trainer) and Karmen (Lead Yoga Instructor): 

"Use body weight suspension training. This technique will assist you in gaining the upper body, core strength and balance required to hold more challenging poses and acts like a catalyst in realising your yoga potential."
